EMDR Consultation for EMDR Therapists
Available Virtually Nationwide
Does this sound familiar?
You've completed your EMDR training, but something is holding you back.
Maybe you're second-guessing your protocol implementation with certain clients.
Maybe you are unsure what to do when your clients become stuck? When they experience dissociation during processing? When the SUDS is a 0 but the VoC is still a 3?
Or you're unsure when standard EMDR needs modification to keep treatment safe and effective.
Maybe you are confused about when to use cognitive interweaves, or future template. Or what to do with that client with ADHD.
Perhaps you're working toward EMDRIA certification and need guidance and consultation hours to get there.
You're not alone.
Even the most skilled and experienced EMDR therapists benefit from consultation.
How I Can Help:
Susan Candiloro, LCSW-R
EMDRIA Approved Consultant
EMDR consultation gives you the support you need to confidently use this powerful modality with your clients. You'll receive feedback on your clinical work, guidance on tricky cases, and help mastering the eight-phase protocol and three-pronged approach. As an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant, I am able to provide all 20 hours of consultation for you to obtain your EMDRIA Certification. I am also available to provide individual and group consultation to CITs on their journey to becoming Approved Consultants.
Through virtual EMDR consultation, I’m able to work with consultees across the US and Canada.
What consultation offers:
A pathway to becoming a Certified EMDR Therapist, Consultant-in-Training, or Approved Consultant
Expert guidance on applying standard EMDR therapy effectively
Feedback on your implementation and case conceptualization
Support in recognizing when modifications are necessary for safety and best practice
Learn to assess for and work with dissociation and complex trauma
Space to process challenging cases and strengthen your skills
I offer EMDR consultation for certification, as well as clinical consultation around specific protocols and resources, including: pre-verbal protocol, attachment-focused EMDR, Flash technique, and the integration of EMDR and IFS.
This is consultation, not supervision.
You remain fully responsible for your clinical decisions and client treatment. My role is to provide feedback on how you're implementing EMDR, helping you build confidence and competence without taking over your autonomy as a clinician.
